A book for children of all ages!

Co-authors

Food Citizen's co-creator, Cuifen, collaborated with climate illustrator Dorcas to co-author a children's book.

"The Three Hungry Microbes" is inspired by Cuifen's experience making compost with students and community groups, and how children of all ages can take climate action through caring for soil ecosystems.

The book is available for purchase at the Kinokuniya book store at Ngee Ann City! Find the book on the 'Asian Stories' shelf, or purchase it via Kinokuniya's web store.

A portion of the proceeds supports the co-authors and a social cause.

With the support of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment's SG Eco Fund, Cuifen and Dorcas are donating copies of their book to primary schools, preschools, social service organisations, and little libraries.

The first-time children's book authors look forward to conducting paid sessions that combine storytelling with compost-making and art-making. Contact us if you are interested to organise a session for your group or organisation.
