A book for children of all ages!

Food Citizen's co-creator, Cuifen, collaborated with Dorcas - an artist, illustrator and picture book author - to co-author a children's book.

"The Three Hungry Microbes" is inspired by Cuifen's experience making compost with students, community groups, and friends, and how children of all ages can care for life in soil ecosystems.

The book is available for purchase at the Kinokuniya book store at Ngee Ann City! Find the book on the 'Asian Stories' shelf, or purchase it via Kinokuniya's web store.

A portion of the proceeds supports the co-authors and a social cause.
With the support of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment's SG Eco Fund, Cuifen and Dorcas are donating copies of their book to primary schools, preschools, social service organisations, and little libraries.

The first-time children's book authors look forward to conducting paid sessions that combine storytelling with compost-making and art-making. Contact us if you are interested to organise a session for your group or organisation.
